How we operate?

We run several centres in different parts of the country. In certain specific circumstances, we can also, on an exceptional basis, provide treatment at home for a limited time period.

A medical prescription is required in order to start the treatment. Re-education sessions are organised on a one-to-one basis and the number of weekly sessions will be discussed with the doctor in charge. Their number will depend on the child's particular needs and development.

We know from experience that an infant's re-education is only genuinely effective when parents are actively involved in the day-to-day provision of guidance to their child. We will try to give you advice that is as detailed as possible so as to enable you to apply the same methods at home as those used in our centre.

Every three months, our therapists will compile a written report on your child's progress. They hold regular meetings at which all the data on each of their patients are put together in order to:

  • make a clinical diagnosis (as detailed as possible),
  • determine priorities on which to base the approach to re-education, depending on therapeutic objectives,
  • define the kind of re-education to be provided.

Your child will periodically be examined by one of our specialist doctors and a detailed medical report will be sent to the family doctor after each assessment. We would urge parents to bring any orthopaedic implements used by their child to each medical check-up.

Thanks to an agreement with the Ministry of Public Health, all treatment sessions and medical appointments are free of charge. Some of our work, however, is sponsored by private donations, enabling us to purchase the necessary teaching materials and therapeutic equipment, which are generally very expensive. If you wish to support us by making a donation to mark a particular occasion (birth, wedding, death) or in any other form, please transfer the relevant amount to the following bank account: BGLL : IBAN LU84 0030 2208 4813 0000.
